In terms of function, ATF with manual transmission oil has a manual transmission oil that functions as a lubrication system that smooths the work of components in the engine only, while in automatic transmission, oil besides working as a lubricant also functions as a conductor in the transmission gear shifting mechanism.

Automatic and manual transmission oils have different functions. Manual transmission oils only support engine performance, while automatic transmissions, in addition to lubrication, also support gear shifting performance.

So, if automatic transmission fluid is too thin or too dirty, its lubricating properties will be reduced and it will cause the fluid to heat up quickly. This can cause the hydraulic clutch lining and brake linings in the transmission to wear out quickly and even catch fire.

If the clutch lining burns out, this component can no longer transmit power from the engine to the drive wheels. This can cause the car to stall.

Change the automatic transmission oil every 10,000 kilometers or every two engine oil changes.
